Terms & Conditions
The following terms are the basis of all contracts between Delizioso and the customer for the services and goods supplied by Delizioso:
1. Payment:
a) A deposit of £100 must be paid by the customer in order to secure the booking. The deposit is refundable in the event of cancellation no later than 6 months before the day of the event.
b) Cancellation charges will generally be made on the following scale. These calculations take into account losses incurred and potential losses due to our refusing other functions since the time of your booking. We strongly advise clients to take out appropriate insurance cover to provide for the payment of such charges.
3 weeks prior to the event : 30% of the total event value;
2 weeks prior to the event : 40% of the total event value;
1 week prior to the event : 50% of the total event value;
4 days and under prior to the event :75% of the total event value.
c) The remaining balance will be due no later than 7 days after receipt of the final invoice. There will be an administrative charge of £50.00 for late payment.
d) The individual making the booking shall accept overall responsibility for the payment of any outstanding accounts. Cheques should be made payable to Delizioso.
2. We require notice of approximate numbers at the time of booking your event. Final numbers must be advised to us at least 10 days prior to the function. This number or the actual number served, whichever is the greater, will be charged to your account.
3. Delizioso reserves the right to vary the menu if items on the menu cannot be easily obtained due to seasonal changes or other circumstances beyond our control. Substitutes will be of equal value and similar to the original item.
4. Where applicable quotes include the provision for laying up tables.
5. Any damage to equipment by the customer or guest will be charged at the full replacement cost on the final invoice.
6. Force Majeure
If for any reason due to circumstances beyond its control, for example, but not limited to strike, labour dispute, acts of God, civil disturbance, war, national or local disaster, Delizioso is unable to fulfil its obligations, the liability of Delizioso to the customer shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer to Delizioso.
